Our beautiful Edithvale residence perfectly captures the essence of coastal living. Designed to complement its beachside locale, the home’s facade exudes understated charm, seamlessly harmonising with the character of the surrounding area.

When our clients approached us, they envisioned a home that seamlessly blended the timeless Hamptons style with contemporary functionality - suited to their modern family lifestyle - and the result is a beautiful family home that invites you in.

From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by soft natural light streaming down the hallway, highlighting the warm oak flooring and feature wall panelling that captures the essence of Hamptons charm.

At the heart of the home is a spacious living, dining, and kitchen area, where a creamy, coastal-inspired palette creates a serene atmosphere, evoking a sense of relaxation and connection. Thoughtful design touches, such as the cladded fireplace in the living room, serve as cosy focal points while maintaining the home’s timeless aesthetic.

Set within a tree-lined street, our Hillview Residence takes pride of place, creating a captivating statement with its modern façade and striking architectural features. Residing on a corner block, the undeniable appeal of this home is elevated through the use of materials within the façade, merging light render and aerated concrete with striking black steel frames.

Once inside, the home reveals an abundance of thoughtful architectural details. The expansive hallway extends into a large, open void, creating a sense of sophistication, allowing light to permeate throughout both levels. Rich timber floors flow into a sprawling, open kitchen, living and dining space, where you are met with a stunning fireplace, welcoming you into the space. Whilst high ceilings and large floor to ceiling windows create a seamless connection to the outdoors.

The kitchen's beautiful stone benches are met with contrasting joinery, offering a blend of beauty and functionality that highlights the luxury of the space. This is complemented by a discreet butler's pantry, adding convenience and refined elegance to the room.

Our clients loved the contemporary architectural style of Thomas Archer and were looking to create a luxurious, architecturally designed home to accommodate their growing young family.

Upon entering the residence, you're greeted by an inviting and warm ambience. The spacious hallway, adorned with creamy timber flooring and vibrant bursts of colour from art pieces infuses the space with personality and charm which leads to reveal the open kitchen, dining and living areas.

The kitchen boasts a gorgeous stone benchtop, serving as the focal point and complemented by the wash of soft grey colour palette, enhancing the faded oak tones of the joinery and brushed gold tapware.

Natural light floods the open living area and dining space, through floor-to-ceiling windows and stacker doors, seamlessly connecting indoors with the outside sanctuary.

The alfresco area, featuring a basketball court, adds to the landscape design, providing ample options for family recreation. This outdoor space is ideal for family entertaining, offering ample room to gather and enjoy various activities.

The striking façade sets the tone at our Doncaster residence with modern architectural features incorporating strong, clean lines that seamlessly blend with the parkland surrounds, offering a harmonious fusion of contemporary sophistication and natural beauty.

The natural stone is a feature carried throughout this home and is balanced by softer tones in the flooring whilst the open plan dining living room extends this seamless design, overlooking a tranquil garden that seamlessly connects to an inviting pool, pool house and alfresco area – a haven for entertainers. This space masterfully blends elegance and functionality, creating a truly luxurious living experience.

Nestled within a tree-lined street of Camberwell, Thomas Archer’s Lynden Residence stands proud with its bold architectural facade commanding immediate street presence. Combining a mixture of tactile materials such as aerated concrete, timber cladding and counter levered design, this home imbues a striking look that is both modern and timeless.

The strong sense of character is carried throughout the home with feature panelling adorning the entrance wall which is enhanced by the floor to ceiling windows and staircase void that amplify an abundance of light that continues all the way through to the open plan kitchen dining and living.

Crafting the floorplan to ensure a strong connection to the outdoors, with windows perfectly framing the stunning landscaped surrounds, has created a feeling of living amongst the garden with nature’s beauty always within reach – a hallmark feature of Thomas Archer homes.

Our elegant and serene Camberwell residence is a perfect example of a home that is distinctly yours, in every sense. Our clients were looking to design a family home that maximised their north-facing aspect to introduce open, illuminated spaces and radiated a sense of welcome as soon as you stepped through the doors.

A wall of gallery windows enhanced this effect, guiding you through the home to a sunlit-bathed living and dining area that opens out to the outdoors to extend the entertaining space. The kitchen is deceptively simple in its design. Subtle details such as an abundance of hidden storage, reflective surfaces that illuminate the space with light from the oversized windows and minimalistic finishes to compliment the polished cement flooring, effortlessly combine to create an elegant kitchen space that exudes style.

Perfectly balancing impressive design elements with functionality, this Brighton East home makes a bold architectural statement with clean lines and a contrasting palette, creating a captivating first impression. The considered orientation and layout of this beautiful residence allows for an abundance of natural light that bathes every corner, presenting a light and airy ambience.

The heart of the home showcases a spacious, open kitchen complete with a beautiful, oversized stone island benchtop. This space is further enhanced by the cool, neutral palette which acts as an adaptable canvas for the family’s personal expression. Designed for everyday living, the versatility of this home allows for family moments and perfect for entertaining, with the kitchen, living and dining spaces flowing effortlessly.

Reflecting the client’s appreciation for wine, a striking wine cellar was recessed to the side of the dining area, serving as a captivating focal point. This cellar draws attention with its floor-to-ceiling glass and contemporary finishes and steel framed doors, emanating a cool, sleek sophistication.

The thoughtfully zoned floor plan prioritises privacy for parents, while ensuring seamless connectivity for family living, providing this young family space for play, privacy and rest throughout the home.

HIA Victorian Project Home $500,000 to $750,000

Our idyllic Coburg Residence is a perfect example of how our Expressions Series of homes can be customised to suit a varying range of block sizes and lifestyles. Our client loved the airy flow of the Allure floor plan and challenged us to modify this design to suit their block without losing the architectural intent of the original design’s layout and features.

Taking the narrow frontage into consideration, the design team was able to reduce the garage size and modify the design to preserve the seamless flow and relative room dimensions from the original design.

One of the standout features of this home is the soaring double height entry void. Opening the front door through the private side entry, you are greeted with an extra wide gallery space. Contradicting the notion that the house may be small inside, this feature creates a grand statement leaving you with an immediate sense of space and height, completely unexpected from the street.

The feature timber screen in the entry gallery acts as a breezeway for thoroughfares such as the garage, laundry and powder room. This detail was cleverly added to create an additional sense of space to the home as was the guest room and ensuite on the ground floor at the front of the home, providing visitors with a private space to relax.

Expansive gallery themed spaces create a harmonious flow, uncomplicated zoning and clever connectivity through the mastery of varying floor levels and ceiling heights in this beautiful family home. The unconventional nature of this design is balanced by large floor to ceiling windows running down the North side of the house, overlooking a stunning pool – the focal point for the homes irreverent design.

As soon as you step inside Thomas Archer’s new Aura Residence in East Malvern, you find yourself surrounded by elegance and beauty. Steeped in warmth and vivid colour, with subtle touches of gold detailing, this stunning home perfectly captures the idea of a home being ‘distinctly yours’ and embodies everything our clients dreamt of.

The brief for our Aura Residence was to create a home in which everyone including family, friends and guests, would feel welcome, relaxed and be able to escape within an aesthetically beautiful environment – where every detail was considered and each space purposefully planned.

Once inside, you are immediately struck by the combination of venetian polished walls with pillars of white timber panelling, leading you to a large void with floor to ceiling windows, inviting an abundance of light into the home and creating a seamless connection to the outdoors. The impact of this space is further accentuated by a stunning glass chandelier with gold accents that imbue a warmth through the abode.
