Thomas Archer Update — September 28, 2020

In-line with the State Government’s COVID-19 Second Step regulations, Thomas Archer are continuing to implement the below COVID Safe Management Plan. As always, we will communicate closely with all of our team and suppliers, personally advising clients of any changes to projects should they occur.

We will continue to monitor the evolving situation over the coming weeks and advise of any changes as they unfold.

COVID Management Plan

In line with the recent industry changes, the following updates have been implemented:

Head Office

  • All Head Office staff are now working from home with no disruption in communication and video conferencing available as required.
  • All administrative and pre-construction management work will continue as usual.
  • All design work will also continue as usual with video conferencing available to discuss design, changes and plans.

On Site

We have been in close communication with all of our manufacturing and materials partners and at this stage do no foresee any delay in products to site. As such on-site construction will continue as usual with the following update:

  • Limit to five people on site ensuring social distancing is maintained.
  • Enhanced PPE and continued availability of sanitisers.
  • Limiting movement of workers between various sites to a maximum of three per week.
  • All staff and contractors are required to log in through our ‘Keep COVID Safe’ portal on entering each site to ensure accurate records of work site visitors.
  • Providing close site supervision to all sites either virtually or in person with Supervisors limiting movement between sites as appropriate.
  • More frequent facetime meetings with clients, providing a virtual review of the progress of their home.

Style Selection Appointments

Unfortunately, at this stage, there has been no advice as to whether Style Selection appointments can continue. We hope this will be resolved within the coming weeks but as a precaution we will be rescheduling upcoming appointments to ensure we are acting in everyone’s best interest.

We have increased all cleaning and sanitisation measures within our Studio and hope to continue this service as it is essential to progressing your build. We will keep you informed on any changes.

Site Inspections and Handover

At this stage all onsite inspections and handover inspections will be managed virtually. Your Site Supervisor will be in touch discuss details.
